Nightfall (Devil's Night)
von Penelope Douglas
What happens when it's five against one and nowhere to run? The games are back in the thrilling final installment in New York Times bestselling author Penelope Douglas's Devil’s Night series.…They call it Blackchurch. A secluded mansion in a remote, undisclosed location where the wealthy and powerful send their misbehaving sons to cool off away from prying eyes. Will Grayson has always been reckless, wild, and never been bound by a single rule other than to do exactly what he wanted. He learned long ago that being treated like an animal gives you permission to act like one. Back in high school, he might’ve enjoyed backing Emory into corners when no one was looking, but he could also be warm. And fierce in keeping her safe. But the truth is, he has a right to hate her. Because it's all her fault. Everything. Devil’s Night. The videos. The arrests. She's to blame—and yet she regrets nothing. He never expected one of his enemies to come straight to him. But now he knows she's here somewhere. And as the security detail leaves and the door to the gilded cage opens, giving Will free reign of the house and grounds for another unsupervised month, he remembers with a smile…Blackchurch houses five prisoners. And he's only one of her problems.

I will miss this world for ever…🥲
Ich habe die Reihe echt geliebt dieses Buch eingeschlossen aber es hatte irgendwie einen anderen vibe als die anderen idk
5⭐️ WDYM????? First of all Emory lowkey pissed me off. I get why she acted the way she did but after 9 years??? Still??? A grown woman yk… But very glad she figured her shit out soon enough. Will and Emory together tho??? Oh I loved them. Kinda expected there to be so much more drama especially considering everything that happened in Hideaway/Kill Switch with Will. But this was just… wow. I loved it. AND I LOVED THE LAST THREE CHAPTERS AND THE EPILOGUE IT WAS EVERYTHING I HOPED FOR AND MORE. I do kind of wish this was like the Rina Kent Universe and I’d be sure to expect the kids stories later on as well. DAMON AND WINTER?!?! Yeah I fear they’re my favorites. They stole this book for themselves as soon as they stepped foot in istg. Transformed right back into being my MCs there. I love them so much they deserve everything. Damon and Will turning out to be the biggest yearners out there? YES PLEASE. don’t get me wrong all of the guys yearn and they’re definitely all pathetically in love with their partners but no one does it like Damon and Will for me. Also loved Alex story so much, could’ve devoured a whole book about it too, as well as Micah and Rory they were so cute wtf ☹️ AND THE EPILOGUE AGAIN I DONT WANT TO SPOIL IT ALL BUT IT WAS SO ADORABLE I DIED. And Michael and Rika… my heart exploded they deserve everything good in this world i swear.
I really enjoyed nightfall. It was interesting from the beginning to the end and I think it was a good ending to the series. I know there’s still fire night but it’s a whole book. It’s the perfect ending, especially with the last hundred pages or the bonus scene how the Horseman met just in general a really good book in my opinion.
