Rezension von LeandroWhat a finale. What I am left with: Can the world, the people really ever recover from something like this, from war, from all the destruction, from the lives lost? Maybe the world can. With the vanishing of the 'lost generations'. The ones lost in death or in life. But people, I do not think they recover from this.

Rezension von Der Einstieg in den Abschluss der Reihe ist durchaus etwas zäh. Die Action lässt zunächst noch auf sich warten, es gibt sehr viel inneren Monolog. Dann bekommt man als Leser*in kaum eine Verschnaufpause zugestanden, denn es geht Schlag auf Schlag. Es gibt viele herzzerreißende, traurige Momente, die im Buch noch wirkungsvoller und tragischer sind als im Film. Insgesamt schon der schwächste Teil der Reihe, aber dennoch ein sehr lesenswerter Abschluss einer Reihe, die vor über 10 Jahren eine ganze Welle voll mit dystopischer Jugendliteratur ausgelöst hat. Doch dem “Original konnte keiner das Wasser reichen.
