Maggie Moves On had all the ingredients for a cozy, feel-good romance — a charming small town, a renovation project, and a slow-burn love story. The wholesome vibe and found-family moments definitely make it a comforting read. That said, the story does feel a bit dragged at times. With so many side plots and characters, the main romance occasionally gets lost in the mix. Some tighter editing and fewer subplots could have made the story flow much better. Overall, it’s a warm and wholesome read if you enjoy small-town romances, but it might feel a little long if you prefer a more focused plot.
