Reviewed by v mixed feelings. there were things i liked like insides into the already familiar characters<spoiler> Nikolai, Zoya and Nina are my faves and it was so interesting to see Nikolai's perspective, how he is dealing with all the pressure, being the King of Ravka, his inner demon and omg Zoya i loved getting to know her backstory and the end like with the dragon and everything, regarding the characters i'm so fucking excited for rules of wolves</spoiler>, their development, new characters, one character in particular
Reviewed by IsabellaTo me “King of Scars” had a slow start, but I was still excited to read of my favourite characters again. Especially Nikolai’s wit made it so enjoyable and it was great to get a deeper inside into Zoyas life and character. At first I considered Ninas chapters boring, but they got more interesting and now I can’t wait for “Rule of Wolves” to get to know what’s going to happen at her side of the story. Still I’m thinking that there’s no way reading it without knowing “Six of Crows” and “Shadow and Bone” first. To me this was a nice book and I would rate it 4/5 because some things seemed a bit far-fetched and not quite as elaborated to me.
Reviewed by SkyllenDNF bei 54%. Es gab keine richtige Spannung. Der Plot hat sich für nichts in die Länge gezogen. Mich hat der Plot auch einfach nicht interessiert. Zoyas Pov war die einzige die ich wirklich interessant fand, Ninas am Anfang ein bisschen. Nikolai ist zwar sympathisch, aber man hätte nach der Shadow and Bone Trilogie einfach aufhören können.
Reviewed by sinniIch habe was besseres erwartet 😭 Das Buch war nicht schlecht aber naja Zoyas, Nikolais und Ninas povs waren oft krass langweilig Diese Mission in Fjerda war mir so egal und Zoyas und Nikolais Geschichte hat sich sehr gezogen Isaaks pov war also definitiv am besten ich wünschte er hätte mehr Seiten gehabt und er hat ein viel besseres Ende verdient :(( Genau wie Juris und Grigori man Spoiler!! DAS EIGENTLICHE ENDE IST ABER SO GUT Ich bin so froh dass der Darkling wieder zurück ist er ist so ein guter Antagonist und war ja auch irgendwie klar dass er einen Weg findet zurückzukommen 💀 Ich hab das Gefühl dass er das zweite Buch besser machen wird aber idk mal sehen
