4,5 Bin in LOVE mit Nina! bissl zu wenig love

Rezension von

v mixed feelings. there were things i liked like insides into the already familiar characters<spoiler> Nikolai, Zoya and Nina are my faves and it was so interesting to see Nikolai's perspective, how he is dealing with all the pressure, being the King of Ravka, his inner demon and omg Zoya i loved getting to know her backstory and the end like with the dragon and everything, regarding the characters i'm so fucking excited for rules of wolves</spoiler>, their development, new characters, one character in particular

To me “King of Scars” had a slow start, but I was still excited to read of my favourite characters again. Especially Nikolai’s wit made it so enjoyable and it was great to get a deeper inside into Zoyas life and character. At first I considered Ninas chapters boring, but they got more interesting and now I can’t wait for “Rule of Wolves” to get to know what’s going to happen at her side of the story. Still I’m thinking that there’s no way reading it without knowing “Six of Crows” and “Shadow and Bone” first. To me this was a nice book and I would rate it 4/5 because some things seemed a bit far-fetched and not quite as elaborated to me.

4.5 I can't believe the ending it had, I already knew that The Darkling was coming back but it was spectacular and then it frustrates me that Nikolai said about marrying Ehri. I'm really looking forward to seeing how this all unfolds.
