⋆. 𐙚 ˚ ⭐️ || 5 ────୨ৎ──── Okay what the freak was this book? A horrible disaster that what it is, like i just wish that i had the ability to go inside the author’s head just to understand what he was thinking while writing this book. Don’t get me wrong the promise of the book was truly intriguing as well as the idea of a book being from a kid perspective especially a horror book? Yeah i want that BUT i think in here? The author did it horribly because of how superficial and boring it gets, like what i suppose to be following here? I finished the 60% with me chocking myself to death just to go through the second 200 pages of it. ˑ ִֶ 𓂃 the pros of the book : ~ The whole idea of a mysterious creature coming out of the little girl’s closet and said she’s “ other Mommy “ was interesting and that’s it. . . ˑ ִֶ 𓂃 the cons of the book : ~ THE MOTHER THE MOTHER THE FUCKING MOTHER ~ The Father as well but he absolutely wasn’t like the garbage shit of a mother ~ The book in the beginning was truly captivating but it slowly starts to be everything but that ~ the lack of description of the “ other Mommy “ like i literally have no idea how that thing looks like till the end ~ freaking hated every single character in this book ESPECIALLY THE FUCKING MOTHER ~ i don’t know but the “ philosophy stuff “ that’s the dad was sharing with his daughter was forced like how a 8 year old kid should understand the absolute nonsense you’re babbling right now Mr.father?? ~ the way they were “ drama dumping “ on their daughter!! Stfu both of you ESPECIALLY THE FUCKING MOTHER ~ the last 40% or so of the book? Zero comment from me because wtf? . . . ݁𝜗𝜚. ݁₊ ⊹ ࣪ ˖ I read the book when i saw the trailer for upcoming film in October this year because it was so creepy and exciting, so the minute i know it was inspired by this book i had to read it… but oh boy how disappointed i am now.

I was really enjoying this book, and overall I like it because I was invested, it kept me turning pages I need to admit it! I wanted to find out the plot twist or the moment everything was going to “explode”. I was a little bit nervous to read this when I read some reviews saying it was written on the little girl perspective, but I must say I loved the writing. In her perspective made things more eerie, really enjoyed that! But the end…? Didn’t love it

Wtf was that? This has to be one of the most ridiculous books I've read in a while. The writing style alone made my eyes bleed. Maybe I'm missing the meaning behind this so called plot, but even the ending didn't clarify a single thing for me. 2 stars bc I at least finished reading it...I guess
