Rezension von OrlaConveys a beautiful story about the complexity of romance and loves that never die. An absolutely gut wrenching book that I sobbed at the end of for at least 20 minutes
Rezension von LarissaIch habe lange darüber nachgedacht, wie ich dieses Buch bewerten soll…. Es hat mich im ersten Teil irgendwie nicht ganz so gepackt, ich fand es okay. Mehr aber nicht. Die Hints zu „the great Gatsby“ fand ich aber sehr gelungen, auch dass man nicht wusste, wie die Protagonistin richtig heisst, war für mich mal was ganz anderes. Der zweite Teil war für mich klarer, strukturierter aber auch viel emotionaler. Der hat mich definitiv abgeholt und viel mit mir gemacht. Ich denke noch jetzt an das Ende und obwohl ich im ersten Teil beim Lesen meine Schwierigkeiten hatte und lange an dem Buch sass, merke ich, dass es doch viel mit mir gemacht hat. Eine Empfehlung von mir!
Rezension von coffeedate.with.memy expectations might have been too high for this. Up until the end almost I really didn't like Yash, so I felt very detached from the whole drama. Generally I found it a bit pretentious and out of touch. But the ending somehow tied it all together nicely
Rezension von CelliSehr bekanntes Grundkonzept über die Frage: Was wäre wenn? Painfully beautiful geschrieben: "Oh. Love." Mit hat der erste Teil sogar etwas besser gefallen, der zweite war aber der Teil der wichtiger war. So kurz aber so perfekt.
