Rezension von feder_magie„Hate Notes“ ist nicht unbedingt mein Lieblingstitel von Keeland-Ward, aber er hat mich wirklich gut unterhalten. Die betrogene Charlotte verkauft ihr Designer Brautkleid und findet eine mysteriöse Notiz. Betrunken lernt sie zufällig eine Frau kennen, die ihr einen Job als Assistentin des Mannes vermittelt, der sie mit seiner romantischen Ader so sehr berührt hat. Wer Bücher der Autorinnen kennt weiß, dass sich die Protagonisten immer unter wirklich absurden Voraussetzungen kennenlernen. Für mich jedes Mal ein kreatives Highlight und ich denke einfach gar nicht darüber nach, wie unrealistisch das alles ist. Manchmal muss man akzeptieren, dass manche Geschichten straight outta Absurdistan kommen. Wie immer bleibt es aber auch in „Hate Notes“ nicht nur witzig. Nach einigen lustigen und auch sympathischen Schlagabtäuschen und Dialogen kommen wir zum ernsten Kernthema. Ich empfand es als sehr gut umgesetzt und realistisch. Die Protagonisten fand ich alle sehr sympathisch und die kleinen Neckereien waren unterhaltsam zu verfolgen. Für eingefleischte Fans auf jeden Fall wieder ein gelungenes Buch.

Rezension von Melli Ich mag die Bücher der beiden Autorinnen immer sehr gern, denn sie überzeugen in der Regel mit Emotionen und unvorhersehbaren Wendungen. Der Schreibstil ist wirklich toll und man fliegt quasi nur so durch die Seiten. Die Story war emotional, ein bisschen dramatisch, dezent verrückt und die Dialoge ließen mich das öfteren Schmunzeln. Auch die Protagonisten konnten mich überzeugen, die Leidenschaft und das Knistern zwischen den beiden was stets greifbar. Und jeder sollte eine "Scheiß-Drauf"-Liste haben.
