Penelope Douglas’s bold New York Times bestselling romance set at a remote cabin in the woods—now in a beautiful collector’s edition featuring gorgeous stenciled edges and special new cover art. Tiernan de Haas doesn't care about anything anymore. The only child of a film producer and his starlet wife, she's grown up with wealth and privilege but not love or guidance. And when her parents suddenly pass away, she knows she should be devastated. But she's always been alone, hasn't she? Jake Van der Berg, her father's stepbrother and her only living relative, assumes guardianship of Tiernan. Sent to live in the mountains of Colorado with Jake and his two sons, Noah and Kaleb, Tiernan quickly learns that these men now have a say in what she chooses to care and not care about anymore. As the men take Tiernan under their wing, she slowly finds her place among them. Because lines blur and rules become easy to break when no one else is watching. One of them has her. The other one wants her. But he's going to keep her.

Okay LISTEN….

Honestly, i liked this book even tho the beginning with Kaleb itched me, like how can you want it but also dont? I kind of related to her when she talked about how no one talks to her and how she doesn't like being around people. I saw myself in that chapter, that was the first time i cried while reading Dark Romance. ! SPOILER ! but the fact that he learned to speak FOR HER, and it took him 6 weeks is genuinely so cute

Let's be honest, the part with the uncle kinda creeped me out, but the end was stunning. I loved his effort and the dialogues and the little details from all the earlier conversations. Reading his journal was so heartbreaking and it moved me to tears. I didn't really enjoy the non con part even though I normally at least don't dislike that, but it somehow threw me off. All in all really great book and trust me, just get through it fully.
