Reviewed by IzzyI read this book so fast when I was a teenager… it was definitely one of my favorites. I just remember I had 6 weeks of vacation from school and I had read the first 3 books of this series within 2-3 weeks. (In German though)
Reviewed by LeaClary ist ein ganz normales Mädchen, bis sie auf Jace, Alec und Isabelle trifft. Sie erfährt davon, dass alle Mythen war sind und sie eine Schattenjägerin ist. Ihre Mutter wird entführt und sie muss gemeinsam mit den anderen den Kelch der Engel finden, um ihn gegen ihre Mutter einzutauschen. Es ist jetzt das zweite Mal, dass ich dieses Buch gelesen habe. Das erste Mal ist bestimmt gute 15 Jahre her und ich muss zugeben, dass es deutlich besser ist, als ich erwartet hatte. War das Drama zwischen Clary, Jace, Simon und Isabelle etwas cringe und zu sehr im Fokus? Ja. War es super cringe den Plot Twist zu Valentin, Jonathan und Clary zu lesen, besonders da ich durch die Serie weiß, was die eigentliche Wahrheit ist? 100%. War es trotzdem super entertaining zu lesen und ein absolut solides Buch nicht nur für mein Teenager-Ich, sondern auch jetzt mit fast 30? Absolut. Die Charaktere sind gut. Fast alle Dialoge sind gut geschrieben. Das Pacing hat gepasst. Der Schreibstil hat dafür gesorgt, dass ich weiterlesen wollte, auch wenn er nichts besonderes war.

Reviewed by Lia✨🎧📖Ich habe die Serie und den Film zu den Büchern geschaut, bin aber wie auch sonst bei Buchverfilmungen der Meinung, dass das Buch besser war. Der Film kommt zwar nahe an die Geschichte aber es wurden dennoch wichtige Sachen geändert. Ich fand das Buch sehr toll und konnte mir nun auch ein eigenes Bild der Charakteren machen. Ich bin gespannt wie die weiteren Bücher sind und werde gleich mit dem 2. Teil beginnen.
