Rezension von HannaHatt einfach nicht mit den anderen Büchern der Autorin mithalten können. Die Story war sehr vorhersehbar und Gradlinig, die Charaktäre eher zweidemensional.
Rezension von Sarah 🧸Diese Autorin schafft es einfach, mich für Themen brennen zu lassen, die ich normalerweise stinklangweilig finde: Tennis, Weltall,… Jedes ihrer Bücher, das ich bis jetzt gelesen habe, war so toll, dass ich innerhalb von wenigen Tagen damit fertig war.
Rezension von MarieIch hab jetzt in relativ kurzen Zeitraum das 3te Buch der Autorin gelesen und dieses hat mich am wenigsten überzeugt. Die Vorgeschichte zieht sich ziemlich, hatte da schon überlegt auszusteigen. Das Tennisthema finde ich grundsätzlich interessant, gerade auch wie es in dieser Welt für ehrgeizige und wenig angepasste Frauen ist. Ich spreche jedoch kein Spanisch, weswegen mich die nicht immer übersetzen Konversationen von Vater +Tochter auf Spanisch angestrengt haben. Und so richtig rund war das ganze für mich nicht. Vor allem Malibu Rising hat mir sehr viel besser gefallen!
