This was a really good and exciting book with many plot twists and great characters.
Okay so A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder totally deserves the hype… but also, I get why some people don’t give it a full 5 stars 👀 Pip was such a fun main character to follow — smart, persistent, and not annoying (which is rare tbh). I loved how the story unfolds through interviews, notes, and transcripts… made it feel super real and binge-worthy. I actually didn’t want to put it down once things started picking up 🔍 The mystery itself was really well done. Every time I thought I had it figured out, something new popped up and I was like ??? okay wait 😭 BUT… the start was a little slow for me. It took some time to fully get into, and a few parts in the middle felt slightly stretched. Also, some twists were a tiny bit predictable if you read a lot of thrillers. That being said, the ending?? Worth it. Darker than I expected and actually stuck with me for a while. Overall, such a solid read if you’re into mystery/thrillers with a strong female lead. Not perfect, but definitely addictive.
