4 stars only because Holland didn't deserve to be treated like this.
This series is so good! The last book was a tad too action packed for my tastes and I feel there were quite a few more perspectives than in the previous ones as well as shorter chapters, which made it a bit harder for me too settle into, but I guess it made the plot progress faster, and it's just personal preference. I can still absolutely recommend it.
Loved this book and the whole series
I think I'm going to have a serious book hangover. Oh my god, this book. I'm honestly not sure that I'm going to recover, due to the amount I cared about every character and how much they went through and oh my god I'm going to cry again. Anyways, if you haven't already, do yourself a favour and read the A Darker Shade of Magic trilogy because you certainly will not regret it. 22.01.25 - reread genuinely a six star read this is perfection
