Reviewed by MichaelaAm Anfang fiel es mir wirklich schwer, in die Geschichte reinzukommen. Nicht, weil sie kompliziert geschrieben ist – im Gegenteil – aber es hat mich einfach nicht direkt gepackt. Ich war sogar kurz davor, das Buch abzubrechen. Zum Glück habe ich weitergelesen, denn irgendwann hat es mich komplett erwischt. Ab einem gewissen Punkt konnte ich das Buch einfach nicht mehr aus der Hand legen. Die Emotionen wurden intensiver, die Dynamik zwischen den Figuren hat mich mitgerissen und plötzlich war genau das da, was mir am Anfang gefehlt hat. Insgesamt also ein Buch, das etwas Anlauf braucht, sich dann aber absolut lohnt. Wer dranbleibt, wird mit einer fesselnden und gefühlvollen Geschichte belohnt.
