Reviewed by CelinaIch hab nach einer stressigen Zeit endlich mal wieder Zeit zum Lesen gehabt, und dieses Buch in die Hand genommen. Ich hatte auf eine gute Zeit gehofft, aber nicht damit gerechnet mich so in die Charaktere zu verlieben. Es geht um Monty und Reese. Er ist der field Manager des Baseballteams und sie die neue Eigentümerin. Anfangs ist es zwischen den beiden etwas holprig, doch die Anziehung zu einander können sie nicht ignorieren. Deren Beziehung und allgemeine Interaktionen haben mir ein Gefühl von Sicherheit und Wohlbefinden vermittelt. Ich fand es schön zu sehen, dass eine Frau geschrieben wurde, die in einem männerdominierten Beruf arbeitet und es auch noch besser macht. Die misogynen Kommentare haben mich unfassbar wütend gemacht und ich bin fasziniert von Reese, wie sie damit umgangen ist. Von mir also 5 von 5 Sternen.
Reviewed by LeaMonty und Reese's Buch!!!! Monty ist Trainer der Windy City Warriors und Reese ist die neue Eigentümerin des Verein. Die Beiden können sich von Anfang an nicht leiden, aber mit der Zeit kommen sie sich näher. Leider können sie nichts miteinander anfangen, weil sie immer noch sein Boss ist. Oh mein Gott, es war so gut. Ich habe mich seit Play Along rauskam, auf ein Buch mit den beiden gefreut. Reese ist so badass und Monty ist einfach der Beste. Außerdem war er echt hot in diesem Buch. Ich sag nur "I lift heavy for a reason". Das Buch war ein Traum. Ich bin nur traurig jetzt, wo wir nicht mehr von diesen Charakteren lesen werden.
