Reviewed by AnnieNicholas Sparks ist eindeutig einer meiner liebsten Autoren. Seine Bücher geben mir immer wieder ein unbeschreibliches Gefühl mit auf den Weg und geben mir immer etwas mit. Auch dieses Buch hat mich zu machen Teilen sehr berührt. Zwar gefiel es mir, dass Sparks ein neues Themenfeld ausprobiert hat, allerdings hat es mir nicht so sehr wie seine anderen Geschichten gefallen. Warum ist es Russ nicht schon aufgefallen, dass es mit Vivian nicht mehr funktioniert? Die Liebe zu seiner Familie, hat mir zwar gut gefallen, allerdings schien das Verhältnis zu seinen Eltern nicht sehr gut zu sein, was ich etwas enttäuschend fand und besonders Vivian hat mich sehr wütend gemacht und auch zum Ende hin konnte sie es nicht wieder gut machen. Besonders sonderbar war doch, dass Emily für Russ umgezogen ist. Bodhi einfach aus seinem Umfeld zu reißen nur für Vivian im Endeffekt?! Alles in allem hat sich das Buch durch die fast durchgehenden Monologe Russes und der vielseitigen Präsentationen seiner Arbeit etwas hingezogen , war jedoch trotzdem das Lesen wert und hat mich berührt.
