Reviewed by Zolanda3.75 It’s really hard for me to rate this book. The plot and especially the twists were rather mid and didn’t really surprise me as much. Or rather it felt sometimes completely out of the blue. But the writing? I am astonished. Some reviews say it feels pretentious and overly dramatic but I feel very different. Thrillers are not my usual genre so I tend to read only like the “booktok” thriller (basically only Freida McFadden) and there the writing is more a tool than the art itself. Here the writing really added a lot, especially with the different perspectives and narratives. In summary I liked the writing a lot.
