Reviewed by KatesBooklightsIch hatte diesen Monat einfach kein Glück. Schon wieder ein Buch, das mich leider absolut gelangweilt hat. Ich glaube, dass man hier auch viel auf die Übersetzung schieben kann, weil einige Witze wirklich so gar keinen Sinn gemacht haben, aber ich kann nicht fassen, wie man diese Geschichte so unauthentisch erzählen kann. Ich habe nicht erwartet, dass mich die Handlung in irgendeiner Weise umhauen würde, aber leider waren eben auch die Charaktere total unsympathisch und für mich nicht interessant. Ich habe keinen einzigen Funken Sympathie zwischen den Figuren gespürt und fand die Romance leider an den Haaren herbeigezogen. Dieses ganze Drama hätte man sich meiner Meinung nach auch wirklich sparen können und ich habe die ganze Zeit nach dem Zauber gesucht, den ich von “The Spanish Love Deception” gewohnt war. Aber hier war leider so gar kein Zauber enthalten.
