Reviewed by cherryThe Female war eines meiner ersten übernatürlichen Romantasy-Bücher mit Spice und ich war ehrlich überrascht, wie sehr mich diese Geschichte mitgerissen hat. Von Anfang an hatte das Buch etwas, das mich nicht mehr losgelassen hat. Die Atmosphäre ist düster, spannend und gleichzeitig unglaublich fesselnd, und ich habe mich schnell an die Charaktere gebunden. Besonders gefallen hat mir der Schreibstil: einfach, direkt und sehr flüssig, sodass man Seite um Seite verschlingt, ohne es richtig zu merken. Auch wenn die Geschichte bisher noch keinen ganz klaren übergeordneten Plot hat, hat mich das überhaupt nicht gestört – die Stimmung, die Dynamik und die Welt haben für mich vollkommen getragen. Für mich war es eine intensive, süchtig machende Story, die definitiv im Kopf bleibt. Ich freue mich jetzt schon sehr auf die nächsten Teile und darauf, wie sich die Geschichte weiterentwickeln wird.
