Reviewed by Dana M.I really liked the first books in this series. I loved the political intrigue, the found family trope, and the 'let's end fascism' energy. Finding a YA fantasy that doesn't rely on a massive romantasy plotline is rare these days, so I truly appreciated the author digging deeper to explore fear, loss, and injustice, as well as friendship and hope. This book just wasnt for me. The author focused so much on the enemies to lovers trope, instead of writing about the friendships, war’s and political conflicts.

Reviewed by steffi_readsDie Black Witch Reihe ist sehr fesselnd geschrieben, mit vielen (auch sehr unerwarteten) Twists und ich liebe es, wie sich viele kleine Puzzelteile immer mehr zusammenfügen. Auch das Worldbuilding ist toll. Ich habe alle Teile nach dem ersten auf Englisch gelesen, das war teilweise schwierig daher habe ich leider recht lange für das letzte Buch gebraucht.
