Reviewed by NadineI loved the creativity of the story and finished the book very quickly because I was eager to see how the characters were intertwined with one another. However, toward the end the story touches on some rather heavy topics that I didn’t expect in this kind of cozy, detective-style narrative. The book maintains a warm and comforting atmosphere for most of the time, which is noticeably disrupted in the final ~50 pages. I would therefore recommend checking the content warnings before reading.
