Reviewed by Anni DiHoly sh*t. When I started this series I thought it would be a fun read (Don't get me wrong, it is!) But I didn't think it would 1) get so dark and 2) had me want to sob my eyes out. Litterally one of the most epic battle and ballroom scenes (and I have read a lot of Romantasy and High Fantasy). The last pages made me want to throw my kindle against a wall.🥲 This is so unfair. Matt Dinniman, why are you doing this to us???🫠 The ending definitely left me unwell. But all these feelings (good and bad) make this series a god tier for me. Can't wait for book 6 (and the upcoming emotional damage🫡😂🥰)
