Reviewed by NikotaThe book got off to a really strong start for me. The first few chapters had a good pace, and I was immediately drawn back into the story. I just wanted to keep reading. Then came Merrywood Manor and the inn… and unfortunately, I had the same feeling I did in the first book. The story dragged on quite a bit for me there. After a few chapters, I kept hoping the plot would finally move forward, but somehow that section felt longer than it actually was. The atmosphere and the yearning was beautiful and magical, but I just wanted something to finally happen.🥲 Once they found what they were looking for, I could hardly put the book down, and the ending completely devastated me. And finally, something that's very important to me personally: APOLLO, WHEN I CATCH YOU. ✋😭

He’s completely different from most male characters in books, and that’s what I loved about him. The ending was incredible. I had so many crashout’s while reading, especially at the end… and I never expected who the villain was! This is one of the most beautiful love stories I’ve ever read, with an extremely long slow burn. PEAK
