Reviewed by AnsoWhat's there to say about this book? Well, it's nice to know that Armentrout's writing has improved a lot since this book was published. And it's a good thing that I've read her other books because I'm not sure I would have if I'd read this one first. I hated the writing. It was so superficial and that third person narrative was so off putting. I had expected a lot more - because I love the trope of best friend's sister, seriously love it! - but well this is so obviously an early work. So I'm glad I got it for 99 cents on Amazon because I knew after the first two sentences that I wasn't going to like it. It lacked depth and consistency and was a constant back and forth and story of stupid misunderstandings. Nothing happened except Chase and Madison misunderstanding each other and jumping to conclusions. But it's all good. I'd wanted to read this book for a long time, now I did and I can move on knowing full well that her other books are so much better. Thank god.
