The story follows Skyla, a plus-size virgin who wants a no-strings experience with someone experienced, and Drew, a brooding billionaire single dad who has completely given up on love. What starts as a casual arrangement quickly turns into something much more complicated. Overall, it delivered exactly what I expected: a sweet, easy romance that was perfect for a quick read. That said, there were definitely moments when both main characters drove me crazy. So much of the conflict could have been avoided if they had just communicated honestly with each other. But, to be fair, that’s a pretty common romance trope. It wasn’t the most memorable romance I’ve ever read, but it was cute, entertaining, and an enjoyable palate cleanser if you’re looking for something light and low-stakes.
