Ich brauchte lange, um rein zu kommen und irgendwie hat mich die Story die ganze Zeit nicht sooo gepackt wie andere Bücher der Autorin. Ich kann gar nicht genau festmachen, woran es lag… 🤔 Trotzdem lesenswert.

Ich weiß nicht was los ist mit den Thrillern in letzter Zeit. Die sind alle einfach ... meh. Zu viele 'twists' die für mich noch nicht einmal welche sind ... die natürlich dabei auch ziemlich absurd und unglaubwürdig sind. Das ist alles so ein wenig Effekthascherei. Ich verstecke unter all diesen unglaubwürdigen, absurden Twists die nicht so besonders tolle Story mit dem nicht besonders interessanten und befriedigendem WTF Ende. Der einzige wirklich große Pluspunkt für mich ist die Sichtweise von Amber im Koma ... für mich als ex Pflegerin möchte ich immer applaudieren wenn jemand etwas so authentisch rüber bringt. Wachkomapatienten kriegen fast alles mit, sie sind wach, können nur nicht reagieren. Period. Das war sehr gut. Der rest? MEH!
