I never watched the movie, but I'm betting it's just like the book. Positive: the book was really well written, you thought you were watching a movie. Lots of gory parts. Great for a horror fan. Negative: I didn't finish the book because it was too much like every cheesy horror movie. Way too predictable! Same old story line as any movie about a killer animal/ insect and I seen too many of those. I like cheesy horror movies, but when I read I like the element of surprise. I like getting scared and creeped out. I like twists and turns, and imagination.
