3,5. ⭐️ First of all thank you to booktasters for a copies of this book. Redemption by Kelly Moran is my first book by her and I really enjoyed her writing stile. The story is about Olivia Cattenach, who is struggling with the loss of her brother, and Nate, a former soldier and a friend of her brother. Nate returns to their small town, carrying the burden of guilt over her brother’s death during their time in the military. As Olivia and Nate connect, their shared grief brings them closer, but they must navigate the pain of the past, forgiveness, and the possibility of new love. The novel explores themes of loss, redemption, and healing from emotional wounds and the author handles the problems very well. The characters felt very real and all in all I enjoyed the romance. If you are looking for a short romance with depth to the characters this is a very good book.
