When Munk, sheltered from the world by his parents, meets Jolly, a girl who lives on the high seas, these two fourteen-year-olds, who are gifted with the ability to walk on water, embark on a perilous journey, along with a vast array of unforgettable characters, to stop an evil force known as the Maelstrom.
