Reviewed by Nicole"Nerdy little Secret" war das erste Buch für mich welches ich von der Autorin gelesen habe. Als ich das Cover beim Verlag das erste mal gesehen habe und besonders auch als ich den Titel gelesen habe, war ich sofort neugierig und musste mir das Buch unbedingt etwas näher anschauen. Als ich dann den Klapptext gelesen habe, wusste ich sofort, das wird mein Buch, ich muss es unbedingt lesen. Ich habe dieses Buch in meinem Urlaub gelesen und war ab der ersten Sekunde an gefesselt und konnte es kaum wieder aus der Hand legen. Was gibt es besseres wie ein tolles Buch mit Blick auf die Nordsee zu lesen, nicht viel. Ganz in einem Rutsch habe ich es zwar nicht geschafft, aber wirklich viel blieb für den nächsten Tag nicht übrig. Gleich morgens nach dem Aufwachen noch im Bett konnte ich das Buch beenden. Das Setting und die Protagonisten haben auf Anhieb mein Herz erobert. College-Romance lese ich zwischendurch unheimlich gerne und dieses Buch war das wirklich mal etwas anderes. Ich konnte mich besonders in Mick sehr gut hineinversetzen, ich glaube ich war auch ein kleiner Nerd. Ich konnte allerdings auch Jolie sehr gut verstehen, warum sie ihre Freundinnen geschützt und nicht die Wahrheit erzählt hat. Ach ja, mir hat das Buch sehr gut gefallen und kann es Euch wirklich ans Herz legen. Der Schreibstil hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Er ist flüssig, locker und leicht. Das Buch ging viel zu schnell zu Ende. Dankeschön das ich es lesen durfte. Jolie und Mick lernten sich in einem Sommercamp kennen. Eigentlich sollte ihr Weg sich danach trennen, doch dann treffen sie sich auf dem College wieder. Doch Mick denkt nur an seinen Abschluss, trotzdem bietet er seine Hilfe an, als Jolie Nachhilfe brauchte.
