Reviewed by Raphaela Ein mitreißender Thriller, der einen lange rätseln lässt, ob etwas Übernatürliches die Finger im Spiel hat oder ob es für das Verschwinden der jungen Eileen eine andere Erklärung gibt. Ich mochte die Charakterdarstellungen sehr and ich habe es absolut geliebt, dass der Verehrer mit Stalkerverhalten nichtals heroisch, sondern als der Freak dargestellt wurde, der er war. Ebenso waren die restlichen Figuren nicht die typischen, dummen Horrorcharaktere. Es ist eine Truppe von klugen Figuren, die logische Entscheidungen treffen, aber trotzdemihr Ziel nicht erreichen, entweder weil sie schlicht Pech hatten oder ihnen wichtige Informationen fehlten. Der Twist am Ende fällt etwas ab, aber das ist schon das einzig negative, was es über den Roman zu sagen gibt.
