Reviewed by Carlos R. DiazAnna, Kate and George are BFFs who met in college and forged a friendship through a plethora of bad men, lousy boyfriends and acceptable husbands. I liked the nonlinear format of this story, narrated by the three protagonists during different eras in their lives. There is so much symbolism to fires in this novel. It burns with the type of passion that only a fiery female friendship can produce. That is all.
