I stayed up till 2am to finish this last night but i also didn't want it to end. I enjoyed the characters so much and the storyline. In 1947, Janey Everett seeks out to uncover the mystery famed pilot Sam Mallory and with help locates, his missing plane in 1947. She then sets out to find Irene Lindquist who see believes to be Irene Foster, the famous aviatrix,, who flew with Sam. The story, told in 1947 and from the 'draft except of the book written by Janey from 1928-1937. The storyline is blended together beautifully and kept me turning the pages. The author states in the authors notes that this is sort of what if scenario and borrows some physical and biographical details of Amelia Earhart to create Irene Foster.
