Reviewed by StefA horrible reading experience with a brilliant twist. (Careful, there might be mild spoilers below) I absolutely hated 80% of the book, simply because I cannot imagine a greater waste of time and energy than listening to a middle-aged man's unfiltered thoughts on why his girlfriend might have broken up with him, because HE cannot possibly be the reason. I would have found this book even more brilliant (besides terrible) if the twist had come a little earlier. It took too long to hear her side of things, or even his mother's (or any woman's for that matter). I'm glad I finished it - believe me when I say I was THIS close to dnf this book more than once - because otherwise this would be a one star review. But the last few chapters were absolutely worth another 2 ⭐️.
