Dort trifft sie auf Anson, den besten Freund ihres Bruders, und während zwischen den beiden langsam Gefühle entstehen, wird Rhodes’ Vergangenheit plötzlich wieder gefährlich präsent. „Fragile Sanctuary“ war für mich eine Mischung aus emotionaler Small-Town-Romance, Spannung und ganz viel Grumpy x Sunshine. 🥹 Da dies mein erstes Buch der Autorin war, kann ich offiziell sagen, dass mir ihr Schreibstil sehr gefallen hat. Er war super leicht wegzulesen und hat gleichzeitig an bestimmten Stellen das benötigte Detail geliefert. Das Setting des Buches in Oregon hat mir sehr gefallen. Auch der found family vibe mit allen weiteren Charakteren der Familie macht Lust darauf, die weiteren Bände zu lesen. Das war endlich mal wieder ein Romance Suspense Buch mit genug Spannung - teilweise hat es sich fast wie ein Thriller gelesen, das hat mir sehr gefallen! Ich freue mich auf Band 2! 😍
