I hate the ending sm. Ngl I was rooting for Light and he deserved to win (he’s so smart and put so much work in it). And if it wasn’t for Mikami’s stupid mistake he would’ve won, that makes me even more mad. It wasn’t even Lights fault that he lost. I never liked Near, the way he based everything on assumptions made me furious, so it’s even worse that he won. My hope was that if Light doesn’t win the real L would, but since he died I only rlly would’ve accepted the ending if Light won. I did find it sad when Matsuda found out and felt betrayed, because I really liked their friendship, that also annoyed me that he shot Light. I just really wanted Near to die.
