Reviewed by LeleI had a really hard time reading this book because it just didn’t make any sense and all the explanations that were given to the main character a second born child even though she was the first born child did not really make sense at all. I totally get the this book is about a town or an area in which people live after the world was destroyed and that only one child per family is allowed and every second born child has to be hidden or they die due to the government but honestly it’s a little bit too far-fetched for me and I had a really hard time just following the main plot and actually liking any of the characters because it was just too far stretched and a lot of times. I just didn’t end up liking it.
