I was not sold with the insta-love on this one. About midway into the book they started talking about their love for each other and I was like, “oh we’re in love now?? okay that was quick”. I was all for the angst at the end though, and the writing style was fun to read through. Giving this 3 stars as it had its strengths.

wow. that‘s everything i can say to that book. Her wruting style is incredible that‘s my first book from Margaret Rogerson but i already love her and also this book it‘s incredible the tension betwenn rook and isobel is incredible. I cannot say more often that i love that book it‘s incredible and wow. GO READ IT BESTIE!
i'm pretty sure i read this in about an hour. it was pretty mid. easy read. the characters weren't that interesting, and the plot twist was generic and not that surprising. would still recommend since it's fantasy and a quick read.
