A Brief History of Time by Stephen Hawking is a perfect book for anyone interested in the fundamental questions of the human being through physics, especially explaining difficult concepts but in a very compelling way the beginning of the universe, quantum mechanics, string theory, and more important the questions that still are unsolved.
