2,5⭐ It was interesting to read about the tumultious and dramstic life of Maurice but sadly I didn't enjoy E.M. Forsters writing style. I was just not vibing with the choice of vocabulary eventough I think it was just how people spoke in england back than, it still was annoying to me. It was also often hard to distinguish who says what bc the characters kept interrupting each other. I'm glad it endet on a good note. I ALWAYS appreciate a happy ending. It absolutely could end in tragedy with the betrayal, scorn and selfhate Maurice had to deal with.
