Katherine May takes me with her through difficult months in her life. A bundle of serious incidents come together, forcing her to adjust her priorities. During these months of 'wintering', which is what she calls this episode in her life, she documents all facets of her self coaching journey, starting in September until March. Her concept of wintering uses the metaphor of the seasons, the beginning of autumn to winter until the early spring. Months in which nature prepares and lives through quiet, dark, and cold days and saves energy for the next circle of life. Through my work I am aware of change concepts. I can relate her concept to the one I am using, the Four Rooms of Change by Claes Janssen. The book is easy to read, I'm proud of myself that I get all the way through it without getting lost in the foreign language.
