Sad and sweet, deals with heavy, but important topics. I really wondered how they would solve the meet-Haru-again thingi, but it was a nice ending. Didn't expect the sad plottwist close to the end though, which almost brought me to tears. No 5 stars, because I couldn't fully feel with the protagonist, but all in all very good.

*huge spoiler ahead* The last 100p were the hardest. I knew from the beginning that he just imagined Haru to cope with his loss. I just didn’t knew how much Eric actually lost. Would love to have another book with their love story (maybe) "Some of the best love stories are born out of tragedies, I say.”

THIS BOOK OMG First of all, I cried, so it is an instant 5 star book. But, putting that aside, this book was so well written and I just loved everything about the story, the characters, the writing style and the vibes. I annotated this book, so in the end I looked back at it and I noticed that there were many lines/parts that reminded me of my current situation in my life and that is something I LOVE in books. Another really great thing about this book was that there were many sad parts in this book but the epilogue had me SOBBING. All in all, this book will probably stay in my heart forever and I would recommend it to everyone, who wnats to experience the sadness of rejection and the imperfections of life.
