Rezension von JuliaObwohl dieses Buch seinen Protagonisten durch wilde Abenteuer, exotische Orte und intensive Gefühlskaruselle schickt, hat es mich irgendwo in der Mitte verloren und durch die letzten Seiten habe ich mich eher geschleppt. Auch wenn es eine reizende Liebesgeschichte gibt, die allerdings nur skizziert ist, sodass ich das Verliebtsein der Beiden nur wenig mitfühlen konnte. (Honigfarbene Haut reicht für mich eben nicht als Fundament von Liebe…) Washington Black ist so festgefahren in seiner Vergangenheit und seinen Daddy Issues ohne diese zu bearbeiten, dass mir der Plot keinen Spaß mehr machte. Statt Adventure gab es Drama und dafür hatte ich mich eigentlich nicht eingelesen. Also: die Grundidee dieses Buches ist außergewöhnlich und spannend, doch sowohl die literarische als auch die dramaturgische Anlage ließ mich dann doch ganz schön unbefriedigt zurück.
