Rezension von TerestiaIch bin selten sprachlos, aber an dieser Stelle bin ich es. Ich habe es selten erlebt, dass ein Buch mich so verstört und nachdenklich zurücklässt. Ellis hat es geschafft, einen hier zu fesseln, obwohl man sich manchmal am liebsten übergeben würde. Dieser Roman beschäftigt sich damit, was passiert, wenn man alles hat was man will und man sich um wirklich nichts sorgen muss. Welche Abgründe sich auftun, wenn man sich langweilt und absolut keine Konsequenzen zu fürchten hat, egal was man tut. Ich kann nur jedem raten es selbst zu lesen, denn ich würde behaupten, wenn man es selbst nicht gelesen hat, kann man es weder glauben noch nachempfinden was das Buch mit einem macht.
