I spent the afternoon curled up in my reading corner by the window, wind in my hair, raindrops falling beside me, nick cave in my ears and tino hanekamp's homage to the very same in my ears. thanks to @s4caroline I recently watched a couple documentaries about nick cave and fell in love with some of his Songs. I really enjoyed hanekamp's ramblings about his idol, cringed and fangirled with him a̶̶n̶̶d̶̶ ̶̶d̶̶e̶̶v̶̶e̶̶l̶̶o̶̶p̶̶e̶̶d̶̶ ̶̶a̶̶ ̶̶c̶̶r̶̶u̶̶s̶̶h̶̶ ̶̶o̶̶n̶̶ ̶̶h̶̶i̶̶s̶̶ ̶̶b̶̶a̶̶d̶̶a̶̶s̶̶s̶̶ ̶̶w̶̶i̶̶f̶̶e̶̶ ̶̶m̶̶a̶̶y̶̶b̶̶e̶. It's a great little book for new fans, who get a nice round-up of nick cave's career, old fans, who'll enjoy some lovely personal anecdotes of a fellow enthusiast, and music fans in general, since it portrays an endearing artist-fan connection with its ups and downs during the last 20 years. . sweet quick afternoon read, 4/5 red right hands
