Samantha McLean is overjoyed when she is given Shining, the half-sister of one of the greatest race horses, Ashleigh's Wonder. Its her job to turn the sickly horse into a winner. Then a little girl who can't walk falls in love with Shining, and her parents ask to buy the horse.
