Rezension von ClandesvOverall: 30% useful and interesting parts, 30% descriptions that are completely exaggerated, 10% hocus pocus and esotericism and 30% repetitions of all the above. What I really enjoyed are the parts on the importance of being motivated and inspired and the power of thought. I think that everyone that aims at achieving something personally, can find inspiration in this book, irrespective of the topic (become a Michelin starred chef, break a sports record, change careers, become an author, or get rich). What was spooky were his descriptions of “experiments” and how unspeakably bad and unscientific they were. But that’s probably not too important for the sake of the overall message. Some parts are very very outdated, so I always kept in mind how old this book is (1937!!!).
Rezension von The content is relevant, for sure. However, i think this could have been way shorter. I bought the guided journal, as i need more help with working on the content.
