Rezension von MerleIch hatte wirklich so viel Hoffnung für dieses Buch. Als ich in der Buchhandlung kurz reingelesen habe, war ich Feuer und Flamme. Die Art und Weise wie Heller schreibt ist wunderschön - zumindest dachte ich das. Die Geschichte ist meiner Meinung eine schöne Idee: zwei Jugendlieben, die trotz ihrer eigenen Wege nicht voneinander loskommen. Aber wie sich alles entwickelt?! Schrecklich. Ich habe andere Bewertungen gelesen und in einer stand, dass die gesamte Geschichte unnötig ist und nichts passiert. Dem kann ich 100% zustimmen. Es gibt keine Charakterentwicklung, sehr großes Konfliktpotenzial, aber keine Auseinandersetzung. Ein einziges Hin und Her und Kreuz und Quer. Es mag ja vielleicht sein, dass man ab und zu auch mal etwas leichtes zu Lesen braucht. Aber dieses ganze metaphorische Geschwafel ist in Anbetracht der Inhaltslosigkeit einfach nur unnötig und hat mir mein Leseerlebnis völlig verdorben. Wieso muss ich Elles gesamte Biographie wissen, wenn die Sache, die sie davon abhielt und abhält mit ihrem besten Freund zusammen zu kommen, eine einzelne Situation ist, die, nachdem sie irgendwie aufgelöst ist, dann doch nicht so ausschlaggebend ist.
