Rezension von JulianeI'd like to give 3,5 stars - more 4 than 3 (considering the other books I rated with 3..). I read "The Luxe" because I heard it was a mix of Austen and Gossip Girl. It really was. It was totally the plot from Gossip Girl. My question: Which one was first? Who copied who? I can tell you who is who (The Luxe / Gossip Girl) Liz Holland / Serena Henry / Nate Diana / Jenny Will / Dan Penny / Blair Well that's not bad but I could guess after the first chapter (plus blurb) how this story will go on and especially how it will end (I was right). The Austen touch (the time it takes place) was really cool. All in all: Good book. Well written, nice characters but nothing new!
