Rezension von KrissiIch bin relativ blind in das Buch gegangen und hatte deshalb auch kaum irgendwelche Erwartungen. Mir war bewusst das es viele Sherlock Holmes references beinhaltet und war gespannt wie die Autorin das umsetzt. Die ersten paar Kapitel fand ich noch viel versprechend, als Arthur Conan Doyle (Die Hauptfigur, jaja wie der Autor auch) jedoch dann in die Schule gekommen ist und die anderen Klassenkameraden kennengelernt hat wurde es ganz schnell verwirrend. So viele Charaktere die einfach da sind und keine wichtigen Rolle spielen, trotzdem werden die mit Namen gennant, sind aber an sich nutzlos und einfach verwirrend. Ebenso ist es eine spezielle Schule für besondere Kinder, jedoch wird kaum genannt wieso die Freunde an die Schule gekommen sind und was sie den besonders macht. Die Charaktere sind zu wenig ausgeschrieben, und man verliert das Interesse an ihnen sehr schnell. Dare I say auch lowkey cheap Harry Potter knock off?? Ich fand's noch cool die ganzen Sherlock Holmes Hints rauszusuchen, das war aber leider das einzige was mich noch angeregt hat es zu Ende zu lesen. Selbst wenn ich 10 Jahre alt wäre hätte mir das Buch wahrscheinlich nicht gefallen, ist aber trotzdem ein Titel den man gut an Kinder weiterempfehlen kann. (Vor allem Harry Potter Fanatiker)
